Xinhua Beijing, May 19 (reporter liu jiyang sheep) 19 reporters from the China national offshore oil group co., LTD., China's independent design, build the biggest offshore oil production platform - 14-4 center platform, in the south China sea in the east China sea complete floating installation, marked the our country large Marine oil and gas equipment construction and installation capacity of further ascension.
According to the person in charge of CNOOC, the Lufeng 14-4 center platform is built in an integrated mode, and each functional module is assembled in a "building block" style on land. After two days of installation on the sea, it can meet the living conditions of personnel. The platform is expected to start production by the end of 2021 and will provide more oil and gas resources to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
The Lufeng 14-4 central platform is composed of two parts, the upper block and the jacket, standing in the sea at a depth of 145 meters, with a total height of 218 meters, equivalent to the height of a 70-story building, and a total weight of nearly 30,000 tons.
